Thank you for your interest in Gem City Family Tennis! We are a (very) small, 509(a)(2) non-profit, looking to make quality tennis instruction more affordable for Dayton, Northridge and Trotwood families.
Tennis is a healthy and beautiful sport that is difficult to master without extensive and expensive training. Gem City Family Tennis attempts to remedy this by providing lessons and classes at affordable rates, commensurate to those of many popular youth sports organizations like Little League Baseball and AYSO soccer. Equipment is always provided at no charge and students are encouraged to borrow rackets and balls if they'd like to practice at home. Additionally we love to partner with schools to bring tennis to gym class or after-school programs. Shout out to any school/athletic program administrators to contact us below and we can get the (tennis) ball rolling!
While we do not current operate at any indoor facilities, we utilize local public court space and a partnership with The Salvation Army Kroc Center of North Dayton allows us to hold group classes and events in their gym. However, we would love to find a partner with indoor court space for the winter months. Reach out if you've got any leads! Always looking for volunteers as well!
TLDR; We love tennis and we want to give some Dayton-area kids the opportunity to love tennis too!
